Water Usage
Limiting Water Usage
Irrigated agriculture is critical for meeting the country's food production demands. Efficient irrigation schemes and water management practices are vital in preserving groundwater sources and help maintain the farm profitability. While our farm’s natural spring water supply sustains us during both the dry and rainy seasons, we recognize the value of preserving this resource. We have made significant investments, so we use only what the crops need.
Custom irrigation: We depend on a continuous stream of weather and soil data to ensure that we're irrigating our farm appropriately. Our farm technicians use historical and weather data, as well as comprehensive soil testing that analysis soil moisture contents, to forecast water needs and consequently change our irrigation system to hourly, daily, or monthly depending on the field condition.
Efficient equipment: Water loss due to evaporation or over-watering is minimized with our irrigation systems. Our irrigators are well-maintained and controlled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that any breaks or blockages are quickly repaired.
