Golden Arable Plantain Propagation and Farming

Golden Arable farm recently established two plantain propagators; the facilities are designed to propagate between 8000 to 10000 suckers of plantains for each planting period. A bold step towards making Cameroon self-sufficient in plantain production.

The propagators will facilitate increased production of high-quality suckers. Cameroon currently consumes about 4.8 million tons of plantain annually, which translate to about 197 kg per person. The Golden Arable farm plans to produce a significant quantity of plantains, which will meet the demand of the local consumption.
