Golden Arable Cocoyam Propagation and Farming

Golden Arable Farm recently built two cocoyam propagators, each capable of producing between 3000 and 4000 cocoyam seedlings per planting season. Hence, a brave move towards making Cameroon self-sufficient in cocoyam production.

The propagators will facilitate increased production of high-quality seedlings. Cameroon currently consumes around 2 million tons of cocoyams per year, with a 3.07 percent annual growth rate. The Golden Arable farm intends to grow a considerable amount of cocoyam in order to satisfy the local demand.
